Premiums depend on age and are dearer for women.
I've just paid 997tl and Johns was 680tl for a year.
We chose the premiums that don't cover cost of initial consultation as they are so cheap anyway.
After that everything as an in patient is covered.
We're not married, so was the best option for us.
I recently went to the Esnaf and some of my tests were discounted with the insurance health card, apparently saved just over 100tl on normal costs.

This was with AXA, next door to McDonalds, Dinah speaks perfect English and was very helpful.

That sounds very reasonable - so you now have your own cover - saving about 1000 TL on current costs for a married couple?

And ............... if I am not mistaken - even with SGK you pay a much reduced amount for treatment but you still end up paying something whereas you seem to have ALL in-patient costs (which is always the biggest fear for me) covered.

May well go and have a word with the lady next week   :)

Ps You are not both in your late teens are you   ;)
