The SAS Officer has been released on appeal. The absolutely correct decision and not before time. Delighted for him.

i am glad someone as seen sense, it should not have gone so far.
a fine or community service would have been better choice to give him.
but i suppose everyone as to be careful about anyone who has guns these days
