I loved him, he was very funny and revelled in winding people up. Very tongue in cheek but always with an element of truth. He was outrageous in his restaurant critiques, great to read, he just always made me laugh. RIP.

Had the pleasure of his Company at our hotel in Scarborough when he made his film(Chorus of dissaproval)with most of the big name British  stars of the time using our Hotel ,Anthony Hopkins , Patsy Kensit , Jenny Seagrove ,Silvia Simms , Richard Briars , Gareth Hunt , Lional Jefferies ,Jeremy Irons , David Kay, Prunella Scales ,Alexander Pigg  Not Name dropping or anything  good Times  RIP  Mr WINNER

Didn't exactly have the pleasure if his company but a few years ago he was having lunch at the next table to us in a well known Knightsbridge store restaurant. He was with Paoula his assistant and girlfriend at that time. They were having great fun and were later joined by the Egyptian owner.
