The following companies have done business with A Place in the Sun and have debts that remain unpaid, the reasons given are either that the companies are in financial difficulties, or they have simply dishonoured their contactual obligations:

    A&C Prime Properties Ltd, a Cypriot agency, proprietors Andria Vatis and Christa Constantinou.
    Aegean Independent, a broker operated by David Davies in Olu Deniz, Turkey
    A1 Spanish Property Sales, a broker operated by Brian Ellis based in Torrevieja, Spain.
    Andaluz Estates, an estate agent operating in the Costa del Sol.
    Bulgarian Prestige Properties, a Bulgarian agency operated by Daniel and Terry Glasscoe.
    Clover Builders Limited, a Turkish building firm operated by Trevor James.
    Costa Brava Home and Income, also know as Bravacare, a broker in Spain operated by Trevor Holt.
    Countryside Properties, a broker operated by Giovanni Fasano in Puglia, Italy. Also trades in the name of Green Italy SRL.
    Crete Imperial Homes, a UK broker selling property in Crete operated by Christopher Smith.
    Deska Global, sometimes known as Infinity Express, developers based in Turkey.
    Egyptian British Real Estate, a developer in Hurghada, Egypt.
    Global Sun Estate, a broker selling property in Kusadasi, Turkey.
    Grupo Damasio Santos SA, a developer and agent in the Algarve.
    Helen Sosso, operating a Prudential Elite Realty franchise in Sarasota, Florida.
    Hot Line Real Estate, a broker operating in Egypts red Sea coast region.
    SAS Inytialis, an estate agent in Paris, France.
    Lifestyle Properties, a broker operated by Ron Hunt selling property in Malta.
    Portugal Property Collection, an agent based in the Algarve, operated by Fiona Lang.
    Riviera Invest Real Estate, an agency based in Alanya, Turkey.
    SureTrust Investment, a broker operated by Michael Stewart selling properties in Bulgaria.

I wish they'd had dealings with KBS Property in Algarve and could expose them.  We were stung by them.  They have offices all over Spain and Portugal.  They'll answer every question with exactly what you want to hear whether it's true or not.  We were pretty naive so I expect they played on that.

These are specifically companies who exhibited at the A Place in the Sun Exhibitions in the UK but didn't actually pay them. Shameful that an exhibition that has estate agents and developers from literally all over the World, has a debtor list where 3 out of a total of just 20 are from the tiny resort of Fethiye in Turkey.

It is not inconceivable that this David Davies from Aegean Independent in Olu Deniz might be a completely different David Davies, from a different Aegean Independent to the one we know. Stranger things have not happened.
