Menthol, Uzumlu, Ovacik and all other local areas have a regular dolmus (bus service) so you can get around without the need of a car, these operate summer and winter 7 days a week, don't let that put you off living in a area for your family needs.

Yes I think I've had some conflicting information, corbindallas. Or maybe it was me just not understanding the information. That's definitely possible  :

I'll/we'll be wanting to spend time in the property all year round and I was under the impression that Ciftlik wasn't very well served by the dolmus during the 'season' and even less so off season. And I heard that Ovacik also had a very much reduced dolmus service during winter too.

In fact I've just checked and one of the agents definitely told me Ciftlik had a poor dolmus service. He wanted me to check 2 properties there too and kept mentioning I'd probably need a car. I'm no longer dealing with this agent but I did believe him about Ciftlik
