KKOB will know all about freezers - sounds as if the thermostat is cream crackered so not too expensive .

Try Bekir at Eren Spot Lance; He knows the Indesit engineers. He called them out for our neighbours..

I'm sure it's repairable.  Mine did same last year and the chap came out inspected it, took it away and returned it next day.
Cost about 200 ytl but cheaper than buying new which costs about 1,000 ytl.

Try switching it off.
Allow to completley defrost.
Switch it on.

I do something similar .... no need to defrost, of course ...... with my computer and it never fails.

Lance, a couple of weeks ago i had the same problem and it was the thermostat. I used a guy who has a shop on Adnan Menderes Bulvari. If you head out of Gunlukbasi to Fethiye about 100M's before the Petrol Ofis garage (on the left heading to Fethiye) is a shop called "Sun Group" who sell pool chemicals, next door is a guy who repairs white goods and services air con units. He supplied and replaced my thermostat for 40Tl.
