Hi John, it would have been great to see you but sadly we are back in the UK now - next time hopefully.

Cavfan - not sure on your place specifically but certainly Erdemler - it's amazing what you can see from that position. Interestingly for you (I would hope) - the route from Erdemler to seafront is not just improved by the new bridge at the Mutlu, but also the nip through the Club-E garden is no longer required. As you approach said garden, the road now turns left immediately before that entrance, then right onto the road parallel to the water taxi canal. No block paving for that part yet but it joins Erdemlershire to the water taxi station road. Not a thorny cut through either, you can drive all the way from yours to the bridge now (not that you would, that would be lazy and silly).
