There are enough bars/restuarants/cafes for there to be a variety of enterntainment or none.  Your choice if you dont want to see a Rod Stewart lokkie/likey but for some folk when they come on holiday they like to be entertained.  Some folk just like a quiet restuarant.  Some folk like to stay in their vill/appt/hotel and just have a glass of wine or a beer.  So please let folk choose have a choice.  BLACKPOOL IT AINT and if SOME  bars have to provide "something" to entice customers wether it be good food and service, a singer or nothing leave them be.  After all they have to make a living and pay staff, rent etc from May-Oct.

If it 's the same guy we saw on the Cruise he was excellent.  I cannot see any harm in this sort of entertainment, it's just a bit of holiday fun and if someone does not like it, they don't have to go and see it. However, I think Calis needs a little more night time entertainment.  I remember "Elvis" at the Dawn Beach and he packed the place out.  I know lots of people who look for night entertainment and go to other places to get it.
I read recently on T.A. someone doing a review of Calis and staying it was boring in the evenings and this review was from a sixty year old woman.

cheesy - definitely, different- oh yes, fun - absolutely, Blackpool - no definitely warmer.

was brilliant to see Calis buzzing, Cinar was full, Maya next door was full and a crowd of people standing on the prom, people singing along, arm waving and dancing and a lot of very baffled looking Turkish people. The likeness was spooky and I heard some discussing if it was really him!

well done Jamie and Rod for discussing the possibility of putting this together, having a practice and deciding to go for it. A lot of hard work and backing track preparation in a very short time made for a very fun evening.

well done, hope you do it again one day.

Last night was very good.
I know first hand that rod did not want to do it and was pressurised into it.but all credit to them all at such short notice.
So has scunner always says that if one restaurant does chicken kiev the others follow.
