Looking for special offer on good wines for home deliverey

Can anyone recommend a good offer on some nice red wines for home delivery in the UK. My dad is having a very minor heart operation today (in and out same day) and I want to send him something special that I know he will enjoy.

It really depends on how fast you would like the delivery of wine to your Dad.
I would be tempted to Google a local supplier close to the home - Majestic, Waitrose et al. Hope the op. goes well and happy hunting - a nice idea of yours !

It might also be worth trying Tesco. They have some fairly good offers on cases with free delivery.

Virgin Wines have good offers as do Marks & Spencer and Naked Wines, agree also about Tesco.  Hope your Dad will be fine, sending him our good wishes for speedy recover... Bonus, red wine is good for the heart.

Nichola - one of the things I have discovered is the value of a Tesco mixed case, you get 6 bottles of red or white (occasionally both) for a price generally much lower than the total price for the 6 bottles individually. Also good if the person they are for might not like the one wine you chose and now has another 5 bottles of it sitting
