Colwyn will like this - it's a welsh joke
« on: May 12, 2014, 16:16:10 PM »
 Lunch at Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwrndrobwyllllantysiliogogogoch..

On a beautiful summer's day, two American tourists were driving through North Wales.

At Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyllllantysiliogogoch, in Anglesey they stopped for lunch, and one of the tourists asked the blonde waitress,

'Honey, before we order, I wonder if you could settle an argument for us. Can you pronounce where we are, very, very, very slowly?'

The girl leaned over and said,

'Burrr … gurrr … king'     ;D ;D ;D :o :o ;D ;D ;D

"Llanfair P. G." is itself a Welsh joke - a Victorian one.

Still in Max Boyce's routine today. Probably. Is he still alive?
