Did anyone notice a ufo or comet last night over Calis.  It was about 9-10 pm (and no drink had been taken)?

Yep we saw that. Very strange. It was a bright light and shot upwards from the sea and then moved inland. ...... might have been the council dropping off the sunbeds for the beach......

Oh there was folk on the prom setting off a big Chinese lantern come to think of it. We left before it got airborne as it was taking several attempts.

We saw one of the restaurants setting off Chinese Lanterns.   Re finding a jacket.  We were on our way to the Calis Beach Restaurant and we called in a the clothes shop and Phll bought a jacket as he was so cold.
