It was here in Ovacik last night making a frightful row but I can live with that if it gets rid of the dreaded mozzies.
Wish there was something to tackle the wasps ....

Menthol,  Check for nests around your place and destroy them, best to do it at night.  We had a problem this week and about 4 nests where destroyed and my daughter tells me the garden is now wasp free.

I think you are spot on, Jacqui. It became very evident today that there are at least 2 nests in our grounds.

We got rid of one at the beginning of the season in the wall but I believe we now have one in one of the drainpipes and one under some of the decorative stones.

Think we need to go on full scale wasp attack tomorrow and drive the buggers out cos they are very, very irritating.

Yeah, wipe out the wasps and you'll then have a plague of caterpillars, aphids, spiders and other creepycrawlies.
