Door to door charity seller

We have had a young lad at the door earlier selling
A colouring book for a charity that provides wheelchairs.
We were given a receipt. I assume this is all cosher?

Well, you can buy receipt books at all stationers in Fethiye.  ;)

Never assume and although you can fake an ID did they show one that even look genuine?

He turned up at my house and his ID was obviously a photocopy of an original so I told him to &@% Off!!

They do not do charıty collectıons ın Turkey door to door. He would be dropped off early mornıng ın an area and pıcked up ın the evenıng and gıves all hıs money over to a boss who has a bıg house somewhere. Thıs ıs bıg busıness. I have had the so called receipts checked out and they are fake. They never go collectıng at turkısh houses cos they would be told where to go.

Ok, thanks for that. That is what I thought. Hubby came upstairs to get money.  Only 5 lira fortunately. I told him he was mad. Fortunately he closed the front door first! The colouring book has a wheelchair/disabled emblem in it and a very well written message in English saying it is for the charity! The guy had a stutter! All
Part if the act? Probably too scared he didn't anything to take back :(
