I thought you might know Cleo, that the Scots and Irish hold very close connections.  From the coast of N.Ireland near Donaghadee you can see Scotland, it is so close.  So, no Scot would think ill of you because you were born in Ireland, they like their Scots brothers and sisters....  Have you never seen a Celtic match, they even have the Eire flags waving.

Yes there are many many centuries of Scots and Irish connections, not just the more recent 'industrial period' influx of Irish migrants to Scotland and as to Celtic (and indeed Hibs) I am also aware of Rangers (and Hearts) Matches where they fly the union flag and are less welcoming and understanding of the Irish connection!!!!

And I'm told that on a clear day you can see the Isle of Wight from Lymington.

" Don't let the truth get in the way of a good story "  Jacqui.

Lifelong Labour Party member and financial backer Sir Alan Sugar
Lifelong Labour Party member Sugar????...not to my recollection.  He came on Labour's side for the Peerage, because if before then he was ever active in the Labour Party I missed it.  He joined labour after collecting a mere Knighthood from the Tories, when as I remember it it he had his tongue right up Thartcher's ar$e, as indeed he did for the well known Labour supporting mate of his Ozzy Yank Murdoch.  Mind you they were mates though business and money in the machinations that went on politically and in the Prmier League and FA to bolster a football monopoly for Sky..
