A Song for Jenny (BBC1 this evening) deserves every award that will surely come its’ way.

Simply superb - with a magnificent performance from Emily Watson as Julie and great acting throughout the cast.

Emotional stuff :( :( :(.

Very much so Highlander. Just finished watching it too. Gripping to watch and very emotional as you say.  Really brings it home what the families and loved ones of the victims of these atrocities go through.

I couldn't agree with you more H so I was a little more than surprised to read the Daily Mail's TV critic call it "dissapointing" and that she thought it "fell short of the mark". She must have been watching something different from the rest of us!

Which only goes to prove that you should not believe what you read in the Daily Nazi Mail!!

The Daily Mail is the bane of my life.  My 91 year old mum reads it every day and constantly tells me what's in it and of course it's the absolute truth if it's in the Daily Mail!   : :)

I keep telling her not to believe everything she reads, it's all to sell papers, but of course she doesn't believe me.  :(

Steve J, I agree she must have been watching something different to the rest of us.

Of all the emotions superbly portrayed, for me, that of the sheer helplessness was the most outstanding.  :(
