Driving from turkey to UK

Please can anyone tell me if i can drive a car that is insured for me but not stamped in my passport back from Turkey to UK ? or does it have to be a car that i brought in myself ? TIA

Do you mean a car registered in Turkey, e.g MA MB ML plates.I drove my ML plate car to UK via Greece, Italy, Germany and Switzerland with no trouble at all

Things may have changed but last I knew the person who brought the car in has to take the car out and get the vehicle removed from their passport.

The person whose passport the car appears on will either have to accompany you to the border so that the vehicle can be "stamped-out" on their passport OR you're both going to have to find a way of legally transferring the vehicle to your passport locally.

You can get the vehicle transferred to another passport at a customs office. We had to go to Izmir while we were at Kusadasi that was in 2002. I'm not sure about now but you should be able to get it done at Dalaman or Fethiye port.
