The price is right

Or is it.

Jacqui and I seem to have been at odds with each other (on a friendly basis I hope) on one or two threads lately regarding the price of things.

This got me thinking – never a good sign, I know.

What item/event/experience would you pay what might generally be considered “over the odds” for and just how much “over the odds” they would pay ?

(PS I may have asked this on here before.)

I've collected the lead balloon and put it away for the next time  ;).

But I am watching Celebrity Master Chef and the contestants are at Heston Blumethal's Fat Duck.

Taster Menu is £ 220.00 per person - I won't be booking a table anytime soon. And besides I have better things to do with four and a half hours, :(
