Olive garden
« on: August 13, 2015, 13:33:19 PM »
Hello all.
After reading some great posts about the olive garden I was wondering if anyone had an idea of the rough cost of a cab from Calis and back to this place.
Cheers in advance.
John

I would think it's going to be pricey because although not that far as the crow flies it's a winding road which covers some miles. The dolmus is a great way to get there, great views and cheap.
You travel from a Calis to the terminus at the mosque, then walk to the corner where the Olu dolmus stops. There will be a man there to assist you onto the correct dolmus. You then go up to Ovacik,Hisaronou, down to Olu,through Olu onto the coast road passing various large hotels before hitting the uninhabited part of the journey punctuated by villages and views. When you can't go any further you have reached Kabak, don't expect too much it's just really a terminus with a few houses and shops.Walk a couple of hundred metres along you route and on the left you will see a sign for The Olive Garden, walk down a fairly steep, rugged road for around one hundred metres and you are there. You will experience awesome views, great food, tranquillity and a nice gentle breeze.Good luck the trip is really worth it and sleeping in the cabins is fantastic
