Officially the car boot WAS cancelled, & I speak as one of the 3C's that made the decision & cancelled the delivery of tables. When we arrived, shortly after the deluge of rain, just after 5am, about half of the car park was flooded & more rain was forecast.
The fact is that some of the prospective stallholders chose to do a "Billie Jo Spears" - blanket on the ground or had their own tables & opted to stay & trade
