No more free parking in Fethiye

There is no more free parking in Fethiye. The attendants are back and prices appeared to be the same as before.

Yes, same chap IRO Mulberry Tree y'day, but the uniforms have changed, they now have white t shirts with the Belediye logo on the front & FethiyeSpor logo on the back. Unfortunately, this makes them rather less conspicuous, when you're looking to pay.

All I can say is thank goodness for that - I found it a nightmare last week (even worse than usual) with complete chaos on the parking front!

I definitely don't mind paying for on-street parking in Fethiye and the attendants really do help with parking situation.

I suspect it wasn't a u-turn but the contract is now with Muğla instead of with the Fethiye council.

I'm pleased that all those people have got their jobs back. It's difficult enough to find regular paying jobs here as it is.
