I think there is a lot in the old comfortable shoes analogy. We have visited a different country each year since 2009 as our main holiday and love that - discovering new places - but there simply isn't anywhere that gives us what Calis does. We like to discover the new places but we love the familiarity of Calis, knowing the good places, the places to avoid and how things work.
We found a lovely people watching/sundowner bar/cafe in Sorrento this year, great for relaxing - but all agreed later in the year that relaxed as we were, there is no place we have found that has us quite as relaxed as Calis. I see it in the kids' faces right from the moment they walk out of the doors at Dalaman Airport.
