He does indeed  Dennis, wish we could be there this year to see him and all the other bars/restaurants that we usually see. Next year we'll make up for it

Let's hope the virus stays under control in Turkey, Glenys.  We are due in Calis for a couple of weeks in October this year and again for three weeks in May next year.  I'd hate to miss out.

Fingers crossed for you, and everyone else, Dennis. We're usually our for a month in October but, having been shielding for over 4 months and just starting to go out and mix with people all over again, flying anywhere this year is not really an option  unfortunately. I hope everyone who does get out to Calis this year has a great time and spends lots of money to
keep the bars, restaurants and shops going over the winter. Let'sbe honest with today's exchange rate there's no excuse

Does anyone know if Mr oo la la Ahmet is taking over Edie’s shop when we went past on the bus yesterday there were his wooden chairs & tables on Edi’s front and I seem to recall reading that sadly Edi sister was having to sell up.
Seemed strange seeing the tables and no little Edi dog laid down out the front bless him.
