Anybody see the Joe Calzaghe bout on ITV early on Sunday morning. I have to comment that it was the best performance that I have ever seen. That includes watching the Ricky Hatton/Costa Tszu fight in the flesh at the MEN Arena.
I was happy to see Joe belittle Lacey who had been shouting his mouth off all week about Joe being scared of him and hiding from him and how he was going to cut him up then knock him out.
It was the most comprehensive boxing lesson that I have witnessed. I have always had respect for Calzaghe but never thought that he had such a performance in him.
Well done Joe and Wales - be proud.
