aqua park in Ovacik

When we were out in May, we noticed the construction of a small aqua park in Ovacik. workemen were going crazy to have it ready, but a turkish friend told me it wont be ready until next year.  It looked to me like it was on line for opening this summer.  Does anyone have any news or info on this? How is it in comparison to the one in Calis

We went last month and it is far better than the one in calis in our opinion. there is four different slides simular to the ones in Calis, in addition there is one where you go down a tube slide into a round drum where you spin round really fast until you tip out into the water and another like a big 'U' shape you get pushed off the top on a ring and fly up the other side really scary!! what a great addition to the area.We used the hotel pool as well which is lovely with a waterfall,and the restaurant is fab as well going back on Sunday so will definitely be going again.  Jen.

went to Grand Ucel/auqua park last week. Fabulous !! 25 lira for big people,dont know about little ones,but worth every penny.Much better than Calis one. Food and service very good. Staff really friendly and very professionally run.Highly recommended.

I went last week with my daughter. Better than the calis one. Orange slide is best - you go down a sheer drop in an inflatable doughnut - excellent.

Is the grandulcel hotel aqua park  on the road down to Olu deniz from Ovacik? not quite sure where it is but would like to visit as we are out there next week
