hi all you calis-beach folk.  Just thought would we introduce o

urselves as its been a long time since we have contributed to this fab wesbsite. We were addicted to the forum when we lived in the UK.  We moved here in July 2005 and bought a villa near the Khan Hotel.  We have dragged our heals regarding getting a computer and have only just been connected to the internet.

We have no regrets leaving Blighty and I for one don't miss England at all. We bought our golden labrador with us and she has settled into the Turkish way of life. Mick my husband goes to the gym three times a week not to get a six pack but just to keep reasonably fit.

We have met some great people since living here English and Turksih and all that we meet are very friendly and informative.

Well now that we are part of the world wide webb we look forward to visiting this site on a regular basis.

Welcome back into the Forum.  I get withdrawal symptoms without the computer. Does the dog bark in Turkish yet?
Like you there are no regrets on making this our home. :)

Hi both! Welcome back. We also have made he move (6 months and loving it) even enjoying the colder days of winter, so far! We will keep an eye out for you when walking our dog Zeytin.

Mick goes to the Colosseum Gym in Fethiye - near the Esnaf Hospital.  There is another gym somewhere else in Fethiye but we could never find it.

Honey (Lard Arse) our golden labrador doesn't bark turkish yet but can eat turkish.  Kofte kebabs pide old stale bread you name it.  When out for walks she eats what street dogs leave. Most Turks think she is pregnant.  Can smell a peanut at 500metres!
