Geoff - we had a grand "trying on" of the dress and all the other accessories (never realised there was so much co-ordination between - shoes - bag - jewellery - dress - flowers - nail varnish - lipstick ............we men don't do that do we???) on Saturday for Gill's mum and although Gill is 10 years younger than me she looked 20 years younger - so I have decided to go ahead with the wedding !!

We are also looking forward to meeting you all - even though I don't drink - Gill makes up for my deficiencies in that department!!!

However on a positive note over the years I have developed a skill for safely driving people home in the early hours!

It would be good if we delegated a certain bar/restaurant, for a weekly meet, then if any members wanted to meet up, they could just pop in on the off chance if they fancied it,
We met most of the members in the Far British Corner,but we did'nt know a soul when we walked in, turned out ok,:P

I was thinking the same.Last year it was going to be the Hamsi bar but it was changed to the Bamboo,so as you say lets name a bar for a meet up.Any suggestions from the locals Tinx,Karaoke Mark etc.

Will you still be in Calis at the end of May ?

I think The Dawn Beach, is accesible for most people, and if we say, a Wednesday night, so people are'nt just getting there or leaving on a Wednesday,it just gives them the option of popping in after a day out etc,just a suggestion,:P

A good suggestion Mo, I think most people know where Dawn Beach is and it's not too fat to stagger to Scarletts for a nightcap!
