A road ???????

On closer inspection.........
It may have been more accurate to say that the gravel has been painted black !!!
The thickest bits are about a centimetre. How do i know that? - Because it's started to lift off and break-up where the cars have driven on it !!
However, being as though i'm an optimist, i'm hoping that this is just an "undercoat" to seal the gravel before the proper stuff is laid.
We'll have to wait and see.
BTW there are now several roads painted black !!

When the new main road was built they put layers of tarmac and stone chips i think this may be because of the heat.  I dont care we have a road a level road, and if tarmaced it is a bonus.  No MORE RED DUST he he he.

Virtually all roads now levelled.
The tarmac (paint!!) has been covered with a layer of stones and that is apparently the end result. Many roads now tarmac'd - looks like it will all be done before winter. (insallah)

The big question is "is it better than before and similar to the Olu Deniz road covering when that was done as thats a lot better now settled down. Any pictures possible as its difficult to imagine it?
Have they done or are they doing right up to Forest Hills and that slope up from Green Valley area?

I think it will need to settle down and the loose stones driven-off by the traffic. Not exactly sure where Forest Hills are but smooth and level roads area in front of Green Valley and roads that go further up (on both sides). Most of bottom now tarmac done/being done. All top area (past Zeki Baba) level and waiting for Tarmac. Not seen any piles of stones anywhere i've walked recently. Will take a photo and try and upload it.

Many thanks for this. Sounds like it is progressing fast. My understanding is that for Forest Hills the main road up to the complex will be done but the road that custs through and adjacent to the two complex areas is up to the developer (Ali Yenik) to do so unlikely to happen in short term.

Thank you ChewyTurk
Thats really kind of you to bother to walk up to Forest hills and confirm the in between road is levelled so hopefully after the sticky tar and stones job it will be great.
Any pics would be great for all us UK bound excited owners haha.
Much obliged.

Just a quick message for Loz on here who was so helpful to us during our purchase taking pictures before she moved to Calis.
"You can see the relief here at last regarding our roads , Loz, and things are moving now. Your messages and emails over the past year or more have been much appreciated and the funicular lift from the main road up to Forest Hills is now in operation" ONLY KIDDING!!"

This is great news - thanks for such a great update. Terry - you made me laugh with your comment - especially after all the heated 'debate' over the Viewpoint cable car!
