Hi badger, seeing you mention the Almina Hotel made me smile. If your place is near the the Almina then you must know Ali.

George

Yes first met Ali last September dining at the same restaurant, Mrs. B remarked how lovely the fish dish looked and he kindly sent some to our table.

Have since met him in London with Scunner & Yetkin at Earls Court. :)

Hi Badger, we met Ali back in April and have now become one of his family having bought an apartment from him. He was recommended by friends of ours, Arthur and Karen ( Jock and Karen ) who bought from Ali 2 years ago. Their villa is by the upside down bridge.

Are these trips finished for the season. If not, when is the next one.

Thanks in advance.

Ali certainly knows his seafood. In the 5* restaurant on the Sunborn Yacht we ordered scallops as a starter. Ali wasn't sure what they were, and bravely chose to share a plate with another of our party.

He was quite surprised with the taste, because they "tasted exactly the same as goat's testicles".

Luckily for Ali, goat's testicles aren't £14 a go  ;)
