8)They certainly do like good meat, I always use the expedition 50 have done for the last 4 years and been ok, but am going to give the B1 a try next month(love saying that). I have been bitten to bits over the years there and would try anything. ;)

Saw an old Turkish man with a sprig of something tucked in his hat, which I was told was mint which acts as a repellent. The waiter picked me some which I tucked  behind my ears and I didn't get bitten,
must have looked daft though, with greenery sprouting from my ears!!

i`ve heard that taking marmite is also a good repellant, which contains vitamin B, don`t know how good it is but i am going to give it a go, my bites look like mount vesuvius erupting!

Mrs H always gets bitten but I never do. You're all welcome to speculate as to why that should be. :)

This year i bought a tiny bottle of citronella oil from holland and barrat it was £5.00 but just put a couple of dabs round my feet and a dab on each elbow never got bit it worked for us. It does say on the bottle you should dilute but i never and it never did me any harm and it worked.
