We were there last year 8th - 15th October and one night the storms were horrendous, and bus shelters overturned trees uprooted etc. Just be prepared for the worst!! Some days were really hot though.

that's so weird.
but apparently turkey has only had like 9 days of rain all year.
so hopefully it will stay like that.

I remember that stormy night, I had never seen lightning like it - just a constant battery of paparazzi for hours on end and thunder that rolled and rolled without gaps. Pretty amazing really.

We have been in early to mid October for the last two years and, to be honest, I'm having a job to think of anywhere that was closed. After all the season is officially til 31st October. Also going this year, 7th to 21st.
