Does anyone know where we can buy some, or similar, need a microwave, so we can't put our kitchenware in that, i don't recall seeing any on the Sunday market, but then again when i went on i wasn't looking for any, all sizes, and a rough price. Alan

I think thats the one, there used to be someone constantly shouting 'million million million !

We bought loads from there when we bought our apt. It's what's known as Leeds as a 'swag shop'  :)

Alan, they do sell them on the Sunday market. Very limited choice though. A couple of stalls sell them. You can find them at the top of the first row of stalls. When coming in to the market from the main road where the Taxis park, turn right at that first row of stalls. We also saw some in Migros. They were the same make as the ones on the market but were actually cheaper in Migros!
Prices range from 8 lira upwards depending on size. We bought a flan dish that is microwave safe for 8 lira. I think the size was about 10 " diameter.
Hope this helps
Mike

If you stand with your back to erin spot and follow the shops to the right, the large shop on the corner that Tribalelder refers to is I think Gural Porcelain. They also have a shop on the road through Tashaka on the right. Good shop with all sorts of stuff for the kitchen. :)

Not quite the same as the pound shops.....they have the usual cheap stuff but they also specialize in cooking utensils and crockery etc which is good quality but certainly not 2.42TL:D
