take a walk from Montana Pine (marked with red and white markers)around the side of Babadag to look at the view over and down to the Blue lagoon

You must take a picnic lunch and explore Cadiyanda, the beautiful cool pine forest and the ancient ruins. Peaceful, tranquil, stunning scenery, outstanding views of Uzumlu and Fethiye, a million miles from the hustle and bustle of resort life.

You must spend an hour or so sitting outside the Tea House in Uzumlu, opposite the Mosque. Watch the locals go about their every day life, farming, embroidery, collecting herbs and fodder, enjoy the sounds of the country - goats, donkeys and cockerels. Buy some fresh peaches from the market stalls and enjoy the real Turkey.

Some more musts-
sunset on sovalye island
Boozy lunch in the fish market!
Cocktails at the Help bar in Olu Deniz- at sunset!( used to be White Dolphin but cant do that anymore!)

and of course
buy an apartment off plan !

Try the Megri (lokanta) choose a meal from the 'front' or off the menu, an just soak up the atmosphere, the sounds of the mosque, the music from the turkish bar opposite, people watch - its great. Likewise having a meal at one of the harbour side restaurants (especially the newer ones on the way out to Calis) at sunset - superb.

You MUST eat some turkish pancakes.....

Oh, and drink lots of Efes while there!!!!!!!!!

You must eat at Jimmy's soup kitchen, Lentil soup with hot butter sauce, yum yum, stuffed peppers fantastic too.
