After taking the wee wee out of Jody Morris only yesterday ,last night he apparently played a blinder for St Johnstone in beating St Mirren in the quarter final of the Scottish cup.

It would have been more in line with his original potential if he'd have played a blinder in the Champions league or something similar for Chelski in the Premiership.

I did a search to find this topic again - on the subject of players who burst onto the scene then faded down the leagues and gone - after reading that one time Aston Villa's young sensation Lee Hendrie is without a club now after being released by Derby - training with Reading hoping to be offered something.
