Same here, one of the problems with putting it on BBC2 is that I can't get BBC2! BBC1 yes but not 2. I was keeping up to date at home via the BBC website (while watching The Apprentice [:o] ) and being slightly behind, with the score at 1-1 with not long to go, I knew Turkey had scored from an almighty roar from the seafront  :)

Where does anybody in Calis recommend we watch the Turkey game this coming Sunday evening?  We arrive tomorrow.  When we were last out a couple of years ago, we watched most of the World Cup games in Scarlett Bar.  Is this still a good idea, or is somewhere along the front considered a better option?  Maybe we'll bump into a few CBF'ers.

Football
Somewhere to post anything football related.

Scunner Quote.       The original question wasn't about football, it was about whether our Turkish friends do a disappearing act during such important events.
The original question was as follows.....
Chorleyboy Quote.   Good luck to Turkey, though I am wondering how it affects the Turks during a game?
Game meaning the football match..
Not football realated.Scunner?
Why do you bother having all these forums with different topics? Why do you keep enjoying telling everyone if their post is on the wrong topic it will be removed? Why did your best buddy/moderator.Crabbit not move it to the correct football related forum?
Why can't you handle any kind of comment about anything from any member on here which you dont agree with.? Your usual answer is the same one. Its my site so if you dont like it ......We all know the rest.
To answer your question..  Why do you waste your valuable time coming here?
Simple answer.  Because I like Calis and like many others find this forum full of usual information. Simple as that.
Football is for football forums which you have on here, NO I do not like football. Its on our tvs every single night and I do not want to spend 4hrs a night watching it.
So to come on this Calis-Beach forum and see it on the MAIN page. NO I do not it should be on it. In the football related topics Yes!
Sorry if it upsets you but I feel I am right here. YOU make the rules. So why dont YOU stick by them as you expect the forum members to.

I'm sure you would receive me warmly if I turned up unannounced over in your living room and p***ed on your settee. The decision is easy, take us as we are or leave us - and the decision is mine, not yours. If you can't accept the way the forum is run them no apologies. Most people use it as the FREE resource it is, and enjoy it. If you can't, I'll put you out of our misery.

That is my final explanation of how the site is run to you, and my final word on the subject.

I do like football. My missus though sounds like davey ( sorry davey) because she hates it and thats why we have two tvs.She can watch her soaps on hers and I can watch my sports on the other.I would not say davey is wrong about this as he is probably right and as it is football realated it should be in the football section.I think by saying in "bold" that he hates football was not a wise move though on his side. But he has had his say, others have had theirs. The game is over so lets all be friends and move on.     To the next game. (Sorry Davey}  :)
