Ayse's Cakes closing!

Unfortunately we cannot carry on trading in Gunlukbasi, the overheads are crippling us, today is our last day of trading, however, its not all bad news!  I will continue to make cakes and pies to order and I will also still offer a free delivery service.  To all of you that have ordered cakes from me recently, dont worry I will contact you to get a delivery address from you.  You can still place orders through our website www.simplesite.com/aysescakes or contact me through my email, jkucuk@aol.com or call me on 0252 613 6698.

It is a shame because they have tried very hard and their cakes look lovely. However I bought a mince and onion pie yesterday, about the size of a Hollands S&K pie at home. It cost 6ytl and it was bloody awful :-\

Hi Ken Im sorry to hear that you didnt like the pie, I had only made a fresh batch last week and we had some for our dinner over the weekend (mince & onion and mushroom) and they were lovely, what was wrong with it?

I will concede Janice that even a home I am not keen on pies reheated in the micro. If I had an oven here then yours might have been much better.

They`re not what I would call "Pies to order!" as stated on your website.    8)

Dear Crabbit, I do make pies to order and I also keep some of the pies in the freezer, again, why is it that you feel like you have to kick people when they are down, another example of ex-pat loyalty!!!
