I have booked most of the hotels for our Kapadokya trip this September and the air balloon flight (with Kapadokya Balloons). I am pencilling in things to do on uncommitted days and would welcome comments from those that have been there. In particular, any comments on walking the Ihlara Valley? I would like to park up at a hotel in either Belisirma or Selime and get a taxi to the start of the walk and walk back to the hotel. Anybody done this? I cannot find any hotels at either place on the web. Are there set time whirling dervish public worships at Konya; where can I get information on this? Has anyone got a hotel recommendation for Beysehir? Plus - yes I have lots of questions - any tips for other excursions from Goreme and Urgup?
CBFers were great in helping me plan our Istanbul trip (with the exception of Scunner; I don't need the location of IKEA stores in Konya, Aksaray and Nevsehir). I trust you will be as helpful again.
