She has it in a shocking pink cast and needs to return on Friday to see if it is healing naturally. If not, it's Meccano time. Thanks for all the kind words, I have read them out to her, as she won't walk across for a look, lazy bitch.

And Linda you are right, I'll use a scalpel and superglue before I use Esnaf!

You have me worried now - my mother who is 84 broke her arm at Calis Beach last year and she had her arm operated on and set at Esnaf.  She was in hospital there for 5 days and we were lucky she was allowed to fly home.  The break has mended and she is just able to bend her arm but the elbow joint is badly deformed.  I just put it down to her age.

I'd get a second opinion - I've seen the X-ray of the job done on Steve (Mr Bassman on CBF) and the X-ray of the job done in the UK (after they removed all the gubbins the Esnaf put in), and based on that, I wouldn't use Esnaf to fix any broken bone.
