Hi everyone,
Thought I should introduce myself as I have already used the forum to ask for advice and have been delighted with the response.  I have been to Turkey many times but never to this area until 2 weeks ago. What a hidden jewel!  We have put a deposit on a villa in Ovacik so I hope that this does qualify me as a member as it seems Calis Beach is the main area for you folks.  We are hoping to return in October to hand over the rest of the money and go shopping!  Your tips on shops have been taken on board. I'd just like to say what a brilliant forum this is and it has certainly helped to reassure us about our decision to buy out there.

Congratulations on your purchace Blobby, Ovacik is a lovely place, we considered buying there but settled on Calis. Hope you have a good shopping trip in October, we furnished our place last October, that was great fun.
