Hi ,this is the reason that i made the comments on a party ,the venue issue was a hope that the different factions in the village ,could pull together in a neutal venue,no malice was intended can we please put this to bed once and for all ,as i have said before well done to all you have achieved a great deal, and when and if a party is to be  organised , i will give any help i can if asked .

i would just like to say that about 6 months ago all the expats in the village were getting along fine but as the fight for the good cause(stopping the cement factory)got rolling the wedge was driven between the village. None of it was meant, im sure, but things happen.it was a shame as the cause was good. somehow we have to try and build bridges as there is so much all of us can do and go to together. For people reading this who do not live in the village it is still a lovely place and there are no running street battles or bar brawls of any description. We are ALL adults and sometimes comments on here are taken the wrong way or are just frustrations coming out.Hopefully over the festive season everyone can come together and enjoy ourselves.Too many people have been getting upset by comments posted on here recently.

How can a common cause drive a wedge between sections of residents? Were some pro-factory?

Somebody please seize the initiative and organise a social event/party for all!!!

Probably more to do with the people who do and the the ones that don't, it happens, it's life.
I'm sure nobody wanted the factory but some did not want to get involved in it's downfall, for their own personal reasons and it shouldn't be held against them, some people are like that.

Have a celebration party a.s.a.p. and you could even invite some outsiders in ;) but send a map:D

Tinx ;)

Outsiders! Outsiders! We dont want no outsiders up here snooping around our village and checking on our village ways! Especially big city folk from Fethiye or Chip Buttyville Calis
