No one has mentioned Cadiyanda !  really cool, shady and beautiful away from the hussle and bustle.  take a picnic and relax.  Although the ruins are in poor condition it is a haven away from the heat of the day.  

My top ten would be:

Olu Deniz (beach)/ Saklikent (scenery) / Patara (beach and culture !) / Kas (quaint) / Ephesus and Pammukale (culture overload) / DALYAN (and Itziwotsit beach ! (Turkey at its most beautiful)/ Gocek (shops and boats !)/ Cadyanda (serenity) / Gemiler and Kayakoy (paradise).  But then again, it could be  Tlos, Xanthos, Kalkan, Katranchi, Trunc, Boat trip around the islands, How to decide !!!  too many places to go, too little time

river picnic at yaniklar ,fantastic day out by the river using the rope swings ,tickling trout in the river ,having a bbq and a few beers

some great places been suggested, i like the sound of the 3 day boat trip ,always wanted to go on a long trip (gullets) but i snore and did not want people to lose any sleep.does anyone have jerry's number
