So, Is it true Mr Scunner ?

Maybe someone who is coming in this week could check it out?

I am only reporting what we saw - we were not happy about it as we plan to come out next year and Meiss trips were part of our plan.

As it is Turkey maybe things are not always as they seem but I cannot believe why they would put 3 of these signs up and I can't figure out how £10 or 15 Euros makes sense as 15 Euros is now worth closer to £14 - but that is what is said so if someone could check it out if they arrive this week it would be useful?

Hopefully the signs have gone and we can all forget about it!

The £10 or 15 Euros issue has always been a bit contentious but you can't really expect the authorities to keep changing the price as the exchange rate fluctuates. And you also have to bear in mind that they don't accept coins so it has to be in multiples of £5 or 5 Euros.

If you do the Kas - Meis run remember, you have no choice, you have to pay in Euros.

Oh, and they don't accept £5 notes in the Duty Free shop at Meis, because the Greek bank on the island won't accept them.
