Glad your free advert paid off then, pretty shameless to boast about it though. I won't lock the topic, as I said I won't reply if you don't.

The point is that we were being led to beleive that we were getting a deal and actually we were not. CAZ35 thanks for your email let's just say that I am also surprised but just because I voiced my opinion does not mean that I am not a nice person it is possible to have an opinion, voice it and be a nice person:D

The "beginning" of this thread was deleted and as I recollect, you didn`t comment on it.

"rip off" is not harsh, it`s the truth.

It's not our loss, we've all managed boat trips for years without this one. A "special price" offered to CBF members which is actually higher than the normal price could be considered a loss though, one that ain't going to happen  :)

Just so the number of positive feedback becomes plural (i.e. people rather than person!!!) I would just like to add that me and my family had a great day out on the Afrodite at the end of May, Caz and husband were great hosts and the boat was spacious and clean.  Don't know if we received the discount and don't care as what we paid was great value for money.  Just about to send an email to book up our next trip, thanks Caz for a memorable day.

I think there are a number of people on this forum that have too much time on their hands!!!!

yes it was a higher price for PRIVATE boat trips, the daily trips and sunset cruise stayed the same.....I apologised for it, as I put the price and offered the discount without checking with my husband, and said I would still honour the previous price with the discount, so whatever!!!  If you all managed your boat trips before Scunner, why are you getting so obsessed with slating ours!!!  Go on your normal boat trips and enjoy yourselves.....and remember to apply plenty suntan cream...

She didn't quote a special discount then up her standard rate to make it higher overall though did she?

Last word #34 is this?
