SHINE is the only place in this area to eat superb Indian dishes - not to be confused with the Shine restaurant that was and may still be in Calis - was/same owner but defo NOT the same food

I take it you are saying that the only place to get a superb indian meal is the SHINE Restaurant in Hisaronu not to be confused with what used to be called the SHlTE Restaurant in Calis.

There were two Shine's, The one in Hisaronu has always been good in my opinion.  There is now no longer any connection between the two restaurants, as far as  know.

The restaurant formerly known as Shine in Calis is now the Bombay Corner

When we were in the Bombay corner at Christmas the guy told us they were still the same people as Hisaronu ?
First time we went in we thought it was ok but the second time we didn't like it so never went back.

We sometimes go to the buffet one in Hisaronu though. Just for a change and it is ok. Not like Uk indians or even indian indians but a fine change.

Hassan in Shine Hisaronu, told us in October that he wasn't connected with them any more, but was allowing them to use the name Shine till (I think) the end of 2008.  So, either something has changed, or someone's telling porkies.

If the shine in Hisaronu is so successful wouldn't you want to try and keep the idea that your rather suspect indian restraunt on a corner but not in Bombay was part of the same chain. Riding on the back of somone elses success!
