Mmmmm, the choccie cake was gorgeous - the nicest I've ever had!  It was all gooey (fudgey) on the outside and the cake very light.

The vegetarian quiche was also really nice (not that I'm a veggie - just fancied it!)

Woke up this morning the sun is shining and had an overwhelming longing for one of Liza's cooked breakfasts.........  shame I'm in the UK!

I acquired a jar of Liza's home made lemon marmalade at the weekend. Got up this morning fresh bread......nice butter and opened the jar..... I'm tempted to say it was horrid so that she won't sell anymore and I can go back and get the rest of her stock but that wouldn't be fair....... it was perfect......not too sweet.....not too much peel and the flavour was the best I have ever tasted anywhere am almost tempted to have it for tea too - really can't wait for the pickled beetroot and onions to be ready for eating - is there no end to this lady's talents.  Keep it up Liza....lemon meringue....lemon cheesecake....marmalade....... I'll be at the front of the queue  :-)

Life's full of tragedies  ;)  But, 'specially for you.  If she is open I will make sure I REALLY enjoy it and will tell you all about it later, OK??
