What's New?

The Mozaik Bahçe (Mosaic Garden) - serving speciality dishes from eastern Turkey will reopen on Thursday the 1st April.

We will have

-   new dishes on the menu - which you'll be able to sample if you can make our Official Opening Party - date and details to follow soon:
-   a new round ‘Pot Luck' table - and great for larger groups of 6 - 8 people
-   free wireless internet access
-   a (small) children's toy box
-   introduced CBF discount and a weekly raffle - see separate post below for eligibility and details
-   some new music

We catered for a few special events parties last year and will be available for party and group bookings this year too.

There will still be a few tables inside but this year I am opening a show/sales room for my website inside the restaurant - predominantly the lovely Turkish hand crafted mosaic lanterns and mosaic lighting. Other items can be brought in on request.

Absolutely no inferior Chinese painted glass and tinny metal copies and NO hard sell or hassle.

Dogan and I are very much looking forward to this season and seeing you all again  :)  :)  :)

Thanks Rob... the reviews last year were good but you can never take anything for granted so we'll be working hard to improve on last years reputation.

We always appreciate feedback and if your experience is not up to expectations we ask that you let us know - its always better to know at the time of course... we will never be offended and do whatever necessary to put it right.

I did mention discount and I'll post more details about that later today/tonight... but do you have a CBF t-shirt[?]

I am looking forward to meeting your wife  ;) and you too :D

I'll buy you a cheese kebap as compensation - you never paid for them anyway!

Rob, T shirts are available here: {A Link to an old CBF topic was here - no longer available}33241

5 lira (£2) from each one goes to the Carnival funds to help local causes. It also allows members to note other members and get chatting to them or run like hell.

just a quickie before I rush back out

web address www.theturkishtradingcompany.com

don't be put off by prices of large items like chandeliers and lamp shades as prices include postage which is astonomical for items over 2 kilos.

I also have 'local' prices and they haven't gone up in 4 years... so works out cheaper to buy here and discount for buying 2 items or more

was lovely to see so many people passing by today; not often you'll get to see me on my knees!!!!  ;)
