I got shot at by Turkish police
« on: October 07, 2009, 11:18:16 AM »
Yes it true, yesterday when driving back to my office the police shot at my car with a tear gas gun and set it on fire. I had to be forcefully pulled from the car by 4 coppers as I saw flames licking over the bonnet and then the gas hit me.
Car is ok as they put the fire out very quickly as those may have seen on Show TV main news last night.

The copper on the left is taking aim to shoot. naturally I take a photo.

I'm thinking maybe Istanbul is off my places to visit list:D Those are not the kind of holiday snaps I want. P.s. What does Puco Plus sell - I am thinking kebabs or tea or maybe a range of gas masks new in, it's just that they seem to have a queue forming which looks funny with the street littered with all that debri and what looks like a portaloo turned over on it's side 8)

Pucci cafe is a great cafe that does all you can eat sushi at lunch time. Also go to the back of the cafe and you have terrific views over the Bosporus. The portaloo was in actual fact a police box as we have a number of consulates (Japanese, German, Venezuela etc) next door to us.
