I designed my best logo ever based around a tongue in cheek variation of the Turkish flag, so I'm well aware now that you have to be careful about being accused about 'defacing' it. Mine wasn't disrespectful in any way but the feeling of a couple of Turkish friends was that it possibly could be taken as a little offensive, although they didn't [:o]

All that said and understood, how about a white background, 2 'eyes' made from red stars and one red 'smiling mouth' in a vague moon shape below. A smiling face reflecting the benefit in Turkey of the great efforts  :)

And for printing purposes, it is an economical 1 colour (on white).

Well we are down to a shortlist of 4 and the graphics people are playing around with them at the moment to see what design will produce best - watch this space!
