My  husband and grandson are also off to the Emirates today. First time they have been. Grandson who is 20 is oh so excited. Just hope it's a good game with the right result. Unfortunately I wasn't invited and will have to make do with the TV.

Got home at 1am and now feel shattered, worth it though.

Not a great game and the Standard fans did out sing us at times, I was amazed that there were some away fans (25ish) sat 4 rows back from me in the upper tier goal end. This could have been uncomfortable for some home supporters due to the amount of stick they were giving the Standard fans.

Crowd was announced as 59,950 no chance! 45-50k more like.

Chelsea Sunday and I don't think it will be as easy as that one.

Pashka, I hope your Hubby & Grandson had a fab time. :D

They certainly did Fletch, said it was awesome. Bit disappointed with second half though. Have been told I will be allowed to go next time!!!

There was 2 spare for last night that never got used but then it was a bit of a nothing game and Champs League games seem to be full of prawn sandwich lovers   although I must admit that when the big games are on I am mostly in a box. (eating MY prawn sarnie!)
