In Liverpool, we have carrot and turnip mashed together with a knob of butter and plenty of pepper, although the turnip is actually swede.

Find out the day of the next Car Boot Sale in Calis.
Set your alarm for 7 a.m.
Get up and quickly go to the stall run by Brian the Gardener.
Buy his Turnips.
Buy them all.
Gloat for the rest of the year.

Thats because a swede is a swede in england and a turnip is a turnip in scotland, unless you are in certain parts of england where a turnip is a turnip and in scotland a swede is a swede, does that make it clearer:D
