I just want to see some British telly.

Hi All.
I just want to see some British telly. Can I get ITV,BBC1,BBC2  CH4,CH5 in any combination(Emmerdale, Coronation ST,Have I got News Etc) without getting Sky?...I am so confused. I have Digiturk now, but would be really happy to get the British channels in a different package with someone else,( preferably without tying up the computer).If I could just get the main 5 channels from the U.K I would be happy.I don't mind paying roughly the same as I am paying now for Digiturk.
Someone please help.I keep hearing different things, That you have to have a Sky box and large sattelite dish (which costs a fortune) or that you have to do it over the internet, or that you have to have loads of different satellite dishes and I am getting really confused.

The system I have from Gary is connected to the internet via the modem and does not interfere with normal use of the computer.

Digiturk does it for me - FX , Show, CNBC, BBC Entertainment, VH1 and MTV  Loads of film channels  Much better than British TV I think !!
